What we collect
Your email address (and phone number, if you give one), or the address of the wallet you sign in with; your username, country, language and currency; the addresses of the wallets you link to your account; the identity details and documents you submit for verification; your orders, trades and positions; the comments you post; and, with real money, your payment records, including the on-chain transfers between your wallets and Jua Markets.
How we use it
To run your account, match and settle trades, process payments, meet know-your-customer and anti-fraud obligations, keep the community safe, and improve the product.
What others can see
Your username and profile, your positions, trades and comments are visible to other users: on your profile, in market activity and on the leaderboard. Your email address, phone number and identity documents are never shown to anyone outside our staff.
Data protection
Jua Markets follows the Nigeria Data Protection Act, Kenya's Data Protection Act, Ghana's Data Protection Act and South Africa's POPIA. Identity numbers are stored masked, and only the staff reviewing your account can see the documents you upload.
Your rights
You can see and correct your details in your settings, download your trading history and close your account, or ask us to at support@jua.markets. Records the law requires us to keep, such as trade and payment records, are kept for the statutory period.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your language, currency and theme, and to remember a site notice you have dismissed. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
