Will the ANC win less than 40% nationally in the 2026 local elections?

Rules

South Africa's municipal elections are due between November 2026 and January 2027. The ANC took 40.2% of the proportional vote in 2021.

Resolves 'Yes' if the ANC's aggregate national share of the proportional-representation (PR) ballot in the 2026 local government elections, as certified by the IEC, is strictly below 40.00%. Otherwise 'No'.
