Nigeria heads to the polls in February 2027 to elect a president for the 2027–2031 term. This market tracks which candidate will be declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Each market resolves to 'Yes' for the candidate officially declared winner of the 2027 Nigerian presidential election by INEC, and 'No' for every other candidate. If a run-off is held, the run-off winner resolves 'Yes'. If the election is postponed beyond 30 June 2027, markets will be extended.
Hedged my position after the news this morning.
